The region of Castelló d’Empúries and Empuriabrava offers a wide range of business activities spread out around the most popular shopping and entertainment areas.
Variety and specialization make the region stand out from the rest, set apart by the two very different towns in our region.

The historic center of Comtal Vila has a variety of different businesses above all specializing in food products and household goods. Traditional products such as jewelry; wicker and decorative items enliven the corners and narrow streets of the medieval village. A special mention should be given to the small specialty food shops that produce and sell their own cold cuts, high quality meat, fresh fish from the bay and local products such as wine, oil, vegetables, fruit…etc.

The bakery in the historic center enjoys county wide fame. Some of the typical products available are “bruels”, “aiguamoixos”, “rocs de Castelló” and “delícies de trobadors”.

Empuriabrava marina specializes not only in tourist services during the summer months, but also has a wide range of nautical businesses and shops specializing in sporting goods, and brand name clothes and accessories.
